Pion lite

Pionという普通名詞の訳語は、中間子。
こっちは、pahy-onと読むそう。(中間子の方は、パイメゾンと呼ぶ?)

この無料版サービスを試されるそうなので、僕もためしてみました。

本来はサーバー側での動作をみるべきなんだけど、クライアント側でも動作を見る事がでかきるようなので、どういう動作かを見てみました。

Installすると、setUp方法が示される。この１を選んだ。

Pion is now installed.

Pion can be run as either a service or an application.

Option 1: Start Pion as service

The service can be started and stopped from the Services window (accessible through Administrative Tools in the Control Panel), where it will appear as 'Atomic Labs Pion', or through shortcuts 'Start Pion' and 'Stop Pion' in the Start Menu. For Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, you must change the properties of the service (from the Services window) before you can start it:

  1. Right click on the service.
  2. Select Properties, and then the "Log on" tab.
  3. Select "This account:" and enter administrator, then enter the administrator password.
  4. Now you can start the service.

Option 2: Start Pion as application

Open a command prompt window in the installation directory and run start_pion.bat.

Load interface

Once Pion is running, you can use it by opening a browser (Firefox, IE7 or Safari) and pointing it to http://localhost:8888.

Login

The default username and password are both "pion"

Enter license key

You should have received an email with your trial license key and instructions on how to enter this key into Pion.  Please contact us if you have not received this email.

Windowのサービス画面で設定したあと、

Easy setUp Wizardがあるのでやってみる。
自分のサイトを入れて、

cookieの設定は飛ばして(サーバーではなく、手元のクライアントでの動作を見るだけなので)、

Google Analyticsを選択。
*今回(クライアントで使用)は、ローカルに設定したサイトのgoogle analyticsのデータが保存されるだけ？（本来は、タグ関係なしに、ページやレファラー情報をgaに合うようにして送る？)
たぶん、ローカルで見た(ブラウジングした)サイトのURLのpath部分がGAに送られるようになる。@Suijakudoさんが言っていて気づいた。
とにかく、パケットを拾って、GAにデータを投げてくれるという事のようだ。
なので、GAのレポートが、グチャグチャになります。


設定した。


独自のＤＢやらファイルにも落とせるはずだけど、、
独自ＤＢは空のママで、ファイルはどこにあるのかわからず、、
pion liteでは、reactor(この画面のアイテム３つ)は増やせないし、デフォルトの設定以外は変えられない。


デフォルトでもSQLiteのファイルができてるので、それを見る。

サポートとかにも生かせるかも。

この製品は、アクセス解析ツールをサ－ビスレベルに分化させるものという事を実感した。ベンターは、囲い込みができなくなる、、、
利用者は、複数のデータソースの統合ができる。
